Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This affinity purified antibody is directed against human MAD2L1 protein. BLAST analysis indicates reactivity with MAD2L1 proteins from human, dog, macaque, chimpanzee, and gecko (100% homology). Cross-reactivity may occur with mouse and chicken MAD2L1 (90% positive by BLAST). Cross-reactivity with other species has not been determined.
Target Information
Tight junction proteins (TJPs) are membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) homologs involved in the organization of epithelial and endothelial intercellular junctions. TJPs bind to the cytoplasmic C-termini of junctional transmembrane proteins and link them to the actin cytoskeleton.
