Product Specific Information
The W6/32 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I, HLA-A, B, C. These antigens, associated with beta 2-microglobulin, are expressed by all human nucleated cells and play a central role in cell-mediated immune response and tumor surveillance.
W6/32 mAb recognizes a non-polymorphic epitope shared among HLA-A, B, and C loci, immunoprecipitating both 43 kDa and 11–12 kDa chains. Cross-reactivity is observed in baboon, rhesus, and cynomolgus monkey.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use at 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test in a final volume of 100 µL. Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Fluorochrome Information:
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 395 (BUV395) emits at 395 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with an ultraviolet (355 nm) laser. Ensure instrument compatibility with this fluorochrome.
Staining Buffer Recommendation:
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
