MA3-061은 소, 닭, 개구리, 인간, 원숭이, 생쥐, 돼지, 쥐의 alpha-adaptin을 검출합니다. 이 항체는 alpha-adaptin 유전자 산물인 alphaA와 alphaC, 그리고 신경세포에서 발견되는 alphaA의 대체 스플라이싱 이소폼을 모두 인식합니다.
MA3-061은 Western blot, 면역형광, 면역침강(IP) 실험에 성공적으로 사용되었습니다. Western blot에서 이 항체는 돼지 뇌 추출물에서 약 100 kDa의 이중 밴드를 인식하며, 이는 두 가지 alpha-adaptin 이소폼을 나타냅니다. 형질전환된 COS 세포에서의 면역형광 염색 결과, 세포막에 뚜렷한 점상 패턴을 보입니다.
