Influenza A virus matrix 1 (M1)은 바이러스의 조립 및 출아에 필수적인 단백질입니다. Hemagglutinin은 세포질 꼬리와 막관통 도메인을 통해 M1과 결합합니다. M2 및 nucleoprotein은 인플루엔자 바이러스의 복제 주기에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 특히 M2 채널 단백질은 pH 조절이 가능한 양성자 통로를 형성하여 바이러스 내부로 양성자를 유입시키고, 산성화로 인해 M1과 리보뉴클레오 단백질 코어 간의 결합을 약화시킵니다.
