Target Information
Arginase-1 (Arg1)는 L-arginine을 urea와 L-ornithine으로 전환하는 35 kDa 효소로, 요소 회로의 마지막 단계에 관여합니다. 생성된 polyamine은 세포 증식과 단백질 분해로 인한 독성물질 제거에 중요합니다. Arginase 1은 nitric oxide synthase의 기질을 감소시켜 NO 생성을 억제합니다. 인간과 마우스 모두에서 간, 호중구, 골수유래 억제세포(MDSC), 신경줄기세포에서 발현됩니다. 인간에서는 혈액 호중구에서 발현되며, CCR3+ 과립구에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 마우스에서는 대체 활성화 대식세포(M2a)의 지표로 알려져 있습니다. Arginase-1은 종양 침윤성 골수세포에서 발현될 수 있으며, 대부분의 간세포암종에서 발견됩니다. Arginase 1의 결함은 고암모니아혈증을 특징으로 하는 상염색체 열성 질환인 argininemia의 원인입니다.
