Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The Notch gene family encodes transmembrane proteins with multiple cysteine-rich EGF-like repeats in the extracellular region.
Four Notch genes are described in mammals: Notch1, Notch2, Notch3, and Notch4 (Int-3), which are involved in differentiation of the nervous system and other tissues.
EGF-like proteins Delta and Serrate act as ligands for Notch1.
Mature Notch proteins are heterodimeric receptors formed by cleavage into an extracellular subunit (NEC) and a transmembrane subunit (Ntm).
