Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CHCHD10 encodes a mitochondrial protein enriched at cristae junctions in the intermembrane space.
It may play a role in cristae morphology maintenance or oxidative phosphorylation.
Mutations in this gene cause frontotemporal dementia and/or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis-2 (ALS2).
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Related pseudogenes exist on chromosomes 7 and 19.
