Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-3β (CCL19). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using an immobilized Human MIP-3β (CCL19) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MIP-3β (CCL19) by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In combination with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human MIP-3β (CCL19) (500-P95BBt) as a detection antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIP-3β (CCL19).

Western Blot:
For Western Blot analysis, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIP-3β is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under both reducing and non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CCL19 (MIP-3β) is a member of the CC-subfamily of chemokines, closely related to CCL21 (32% amino acid sequence homology).
It is expressed mainly by stromal cells in T cell-rich zones of lymph nodes and mediates homeostatic trafficking of naive T cells and activated dendritic cells into secondary lymphoid organs.
CCL19 and CCL21 also contribute to T cell priming, activation, and lymphocyte recruitment to inflamed tissue.
Both signal via the G protein-coupled receptor CCR7 on T cells and mature dendritic cells.
Only CCL19 binding induces desensitization and internalization of CCR7.
