Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-3β (CCL19). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
For detection of Human MIP-3β by sandwich ELISA, use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL antibody concentration (100 µL/well). In conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIP-3β (500-P95B) as the capture antibody, it enables detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human MIP-3β.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human MIP-3β, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL antibody concentration. Detection limit is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CCL19, also known as MIP-3β (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3β), belongs to the CC subfamily of chemokines. It is closely related to CCL21 (32% sequence homology). Both are expressed mainly by stromal cells in T cell-rich zones of lymph nodes and mediate homeostatic trafficking of naive T cells and activated dendritic cells into secondary lymphoid organs.
CCL19 and CCL21 play roles in T cell priming, activation, and lymphocyte recruitment to inflamed tissues. Both signal via CCR7, a G protein-coupled receptor expressed on T cells and mature dendritic cells. Only CCL19 binding induces desensitization and internalization of CCR7.
