Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-3α (CCL20). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MIP-3α by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In combination with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIP-3α (500-P95A) as a capture antibody, it detects at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIP-3α.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human MIP-3α by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIP-3α is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3α), also known as CCL20, is expressed in liver, lungs, lymph nodes, and peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is upregulated by inflammatory signals and downregulated by IL-10. MIP-3α signals through the G protein-coupled receptor CCR6 and acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
