Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IP-10 (CXCL10). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
For hIP-10 detection by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In combination with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IP-10 (500-P93) as a capture antibody, it enables detection of 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant hIP-10.

Western Blot:
For hIP-10 detection by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, detection limit is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; in mouse also called cytokine responsive gene 2, Crg-2, or mob-1) belongs to the CXC chemokine superfamily. It was first cloned in 1985.
IP-10 functions include:

• Stimulation of monocyte, NK, and T-cell migration
• Regulation of T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation
• Modulation of adhesion molecule expression
• Inhibition of angiogenesis

Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
