For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RARA (Retinoic Acid Receptor Alpha) is a receptor for retinoic acid. It forms heterodimers with RXR to bind retinoic acid response elements (RARE) and regulate gene expression in response to ligands such as all-trans or 9-cis retinoic acid.
In the absence of ligand, RXR-RAR heterodimers associate with corepressors leading to transcriptional suppression. Upon ligand binding, corepressors dissociate and coactivators are recruited, resulting in transcriptional activation.
RARA plays a critical role in germ cell development during spermatogenesis, skeletal growth, and matrix homeostasis, and mediates retinoic acid-induced granulopoiesis.
