The JES3-9D7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human interleukin-10 (IL-10).

Recommended usage ≤ 0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume).

Target Information

IL-10 encodes a cytokine primarily produced by monocytes, with additional production by lymphocytes.
It regulates immune responses and inflammation by down-regulating Th1 cytokines, MHC class II antigens, and costimulatory molecules on macrophages.
IL-10 enhances B cell survival, proliferation, and antibody production, and can inhibit NF-kappa B activity.
It is involved in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway and is essential for intestinal immune regulation.
Mutations in IL10 are linked to increased susceptibility to HIV-1 infection and rheumatoid arthritis.
Associated diseases include Graft-Versus-Host Disease and HIV Type 1.
