Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The mitochondrial preprotein translocases of the outer membrane (Tom) complex facilitates import of nucleus-encoded precursor proteins into mitochondria.
Tom20 and Tom22 form a heteromeric receptor complex that initiates insertion of newly synthesized proteins into the outer membrane and directs precursor proteins into the general import pore (GIP).
In yeast, Tom22 is essential as both a receptor for preproteins and a docking point for Tom20 and the GIP.
