Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The DGCR8 gene encodes a subunit of the microprocessor complex involved in microRNA biogenesis from primary transcripts. The encoded protein is a double-stranded RNA-binding protein functioning as the non-catalytic subunit of the complex. It binds double-stranded RNA substrates and facilitates cleavage by the ribonuclease III protein Drosha.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
