Target Information

Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat IgG targets. Secondary antibodies provide versatility by enabling use with various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing goats with pooled rat immunoglobulins and may be further purified or modified via immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, or conjugation to labels for specific applications.
