Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins and are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility by enabling use with multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, then further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to ensure high specificity and performance.
