Arfaptin 2는 trans-Golgi network에서의 지속적인 metalloproteinase (MMP) 분비에 관여하며, 특정 화물 소도메인에서 소포 생합성에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 ATG9A 소포의 기아 의존적 수송을 조절하여 자가포식 과정에 참여하며, IKBKB 및 IKBKG와 상호작용하여 NF-kappa-B 억제에도 관여합니다.
