Product Specific Information

The 20LJS09 monoclonal antibody reacts with human interleukin (IL)-17AF heterodimer. This antibody specifically recognizes the IL-17AF heterodimer and has no reactivity with IL-17A or IL-17F homodimers.
IL-17A and IL-17F are cytokines secreted by Th17 cells, gamma-delta T cells, and subsets of innate lymphoid cells. The IL-17AF heterodimer, along with IL-17A and IL-17F homodimers, signals through the IL-17RA/IL-17RC receptor complex, mediating immune responses at mucosal interfaces and found in inflammatory conditions such as IBD, asthma, atopic dermatitis, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Applications Reported:

• Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:

• Pre-titrated and tested for intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of in vitro-polarized human Th17 cells.
• Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL).
• Applicable cell count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirically determined).

Target Information

IL-17A and IL-17F are homodimeric cytokines secreted by Th17 cells, gamma-delta T cells, and innate lymphoid cell subsets. IL-17A and IL-17F can also form the IL-17AF heterodimer, which signals through the IL-17RA/IL-17RC receptor complex. These dimers are associated with mucosal immune responses and inflammatory diseases including IBD, asthma, atopic dermatitis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
