c-Jun은 전사 인자로서 enhancer heptamer motif 5’-TGA[CG]TCA-3’에 결합합니다.
HIPK3에 의해 인산화될 때 NR5A1의 활성화를 촉진하여 cAMP 신호 경로 자극 시 스테로이드 생성 유전자 발현을 증가시킵니다.
또한, 대장암(CRC) 세포에서 활성화된 KRAS 매개 전사 활성화 과정에서 USP28의 발현에 관여합니다.
