Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is an enzyme encoded by the CAP1 gene in humans, located at chromosome 1p34.2. This protein is related to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein involved in the cyclic AMP pathway. The human CAP1 interacts with CAP2, actin, and other CAP1 molecules. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
