Target Information
TRPC6는 세포막에서 수용체 활성화 칼슘 채널을 형성하며, diacylglycerol(DAG)에 의해 활성화됩니다. 이 채널은 phosphatidylinositol 세컨드 메신저 시스템에 의해 조절되며, protein kinase C의 활성화와 무관하게 작동합니다.
TRPC6 유전자의 결함은 Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis 2 (FSGS2)의 원인으로 알려져 있습니다. TRPC6는 TRP(superfamily) 중 canonical TRP(TRPC) 패밀리에 속하며, PLC-연결 수용체를 통한 활성화를 공유합니다. TRPC3/6/7 하위 패밀리는 DAG 유사체에 의해 활성화되며, PLC-연결 수용체를 통한 작동 메커니즘을 가질 수 있습니다.
TRPC6는 transfected 세포에서 비선택적, store-independent, receptor-activated cation channel로 작용하며, DAG에 의해 PKC 비의존적으로 활성화됩니다.
TRPC6와 관련된 질환으로는 Glomerulosclerosis, Focal Segmental, 2 및 Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis가 있습니다.
