Target Information
MMP23B (matrix metallopeptidase 23B), also known as MMP21 or MMP22, is a regulator in matrix remodeling and may play a role in endochondral bone formation and cranial suture closure regulation. It has three isoforms produced by alternative splicing with molecular weights of approximately 44 kDa, 48 kDa, and 46 kDa, respectively. The protein can be N-glycosylated.
