Product Specific Information
- Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Wnt-3a. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using an immobilized Human Wnt-3a matrix.
- Sandwich ELISA: For detection of Human Wnt-3a (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL. When used with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human Wnt-3a (500-P251Bt) as detection antibody, it can detect 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human Wnt-3a.
- Western Blot: Use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Detection limit for Recombinant Human Wnt-3a is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Target Information
Wnt3a is a member of the WNT gene family, encoding secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate regulation and patterning during embryogenesis. Expression studies in the NT2 teratocarcinoma cell line suggest a role in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. WNT3A is clustered with WNT3 on chromosome 17q21.
