Target Information
Relaxin 3는 Relaxin-like peptide family에 속하며, 중요한 신경펩타이드 신호 전달 역할을 수행합니다.
이 단백질은 두 개의 구조적으로 관련된 G 단백질 결합 수용체, 즉 Relaxin receptor 3 및 Relaxin receptor 4의 리간드입니다.
Relaxin 3의 발현은 주로 뇌의 pons/medulla 영역에서 높으며, dorsal tegmental nucleus의 pars ventromedialis에서 가장 높은 수준을 보입니다.
또한 hippocampus와 olfactory 영역, spleen, thymus, lung, ovary에서도 발현이 관찰됩니다.
Relaxin 3는 Relaxin receptor 3을 발현하는 세포에서 Forskolin에 의해 유도된 cAMP 축적을 농도 의존적으로 억제하며, 반복 투여 시 혈장 내 갑상선 자극 호르몬 수치를 감소시켜 음식 섭취의 장기 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
