The eBio1A6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human thymic stromal-derived lymphopoietin receptor (TSLPR).
TSLPR is an approximately 50 kDa protein similar to the common gamma-chain and forms a high-affinity complex with IL-7Rα (CD127) to bind TSLP.
Human TSLPR is expressed by monocytes and CD11c⁺ dendritic cells, inducing Th2 chemokines CCL17 and CCL22 upon TSLP binding.
TSLPR activation of dendritic cells enhances Th cytokines IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 secretion, regulating CD4⁺ T cell homeostasis.
In mice, TSLPR deficiency alone does not affect lymphocyte numbers, but double deficiency with the gamma-chain reduces lymphocytes further.
The eBio1A6 monoclonal antibody cross-blocks binding of another anti-human TSLPR antibody, 1D8.

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated using TSLPR-transfected cells at 5 µL (0.125 µg)/test.
A test is defined as staining a sample in 100 µL volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information

Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) drives dendritic cell maturation and activation.
It contributes to regulatory T cell selection, CD4⁺ T cell homeostasis, and allergic responses.
TSLP supports fetal liver and adult B cell progenitor growth and differentiation to IgM⁺ B cells.
Its receptor TSLP-R binds TSLP weakly alone but forms a high-affinity complex with IL-7Rα.
This heteromeric receptor signals via STAT5 and is inhibited by SOCS-1.
