For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CDKN2A gene produces several transcript variants differing in their first exons. At least three alternatively spliced variants encode distinct proteins, including two isoforms that function as inhibitors of CDK4 kinase.
Another transcript variant encodes an alternate open reading frame (ARF) protein that stabilizes tumor suppressor p53 by sequestering MDM2, preventing p53 degradation.
Despite structural differences, both CDK inhibitor isoforms and the ARF product contribute to G1 cell cycle control.
Mutations or deletions of this gene are common in various tumors, underscoring its role as a key tumor suppressor gene.
