Mouse anti-Human Fc epsilon R1 alpha antibody, clone 9E1 recognizes the human high-affinity Fc receptor for IgE (Fc epsilon R1), which plays a central role in the IgE-mediated allergic response.
Target Information
FceR1 (Fc epsilonR1 alpha) is a subunit of the high-affinity receptor of IgE. It forms a tetrameric complex consisting of one alpha, one beta, and two additional subunits responsible for signal transduction.
The Fc epsilonR1 complex triggers allergic responses by coupling allergen-bound IgE molecules to mast cells, leading to the release of mediators such as histamine, prostaglandins, and leukotrienes—key effectors of hypersensitivity reactions like hay fever and asthma.
