The C363.16A monoclonal antibody reacts with the exon B-dependent isoform of mouse CD45.
This isoform is expressed by thymocytes, peripheral B cells, and a subpopulation of T cells at high density, and by dendritic cells and macrophages at low density.
CD45 is a protein tyrosine phosphatase important in leukocyte signal transduction.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes.
Use ≤ 0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell numbers may range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test.
Optimize antibody titration for best performance.

Target Information

CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (CD45 glycoprotein).
It plays a key role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling by regulating Src-family kinases.
CD45 promotes cell survival via integrin-mediated signaling and participates in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis.
Isoforms differ in extracellular domains but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions.
CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells and is found on nearly all hematopoietic lineage cells except mature red cells.
