Product Specific Information
The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic portion of CD45 exhibits tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a crucial role in lymphocyte activation.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, constituting ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent from non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, lymphocyte development, and antigen signaling. Isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains. CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling and influences cytokine receptor pathways, integrin-mediated survival signals, and apoptotic regulation.
