This peptide corresponds to 14 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human WNT10A.
PEP-0662 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-20542.
Target Information
The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins are implicated in oncogenesis and various developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis.
The WNT10A gene is strongly expressed in promyelocytic leukemia and Burkitt’s lymphoma cell lines. It, along with WNT6, is coexpressed in colorectal cancer cell lines. Overexpression may play key roles in carcinogenesis via activation of the WNT–beta-catenin–TCF signaling pathway.
Both WNT10A and WNT6 genes are clustered in the chromosome 2q35 region.
