Specificity: This antibody is specific for human CD40L, and has been screened for specificity using human CD40L-rat CD40 fusion protein.
Target Information
CD40 Ligand (CD40-L), also known as CD154, is a membrane glycoprotein and differentiation antigen expressed on the surface of T cells.
It stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines.
CD40 Ligand induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in peripheral blood monocytes, and co-stimulates proliferation of activated T cells accompanied by production of IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2.
