This antibody is specific for human CD40L and has been screened for specificity using a human CD40L–rat CD40 fusion protein.
Target Information
CD40 Ligand (CD40-L), also known as CD154, is a membrane glycoprotein expressed on T cells. It stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines. CD40L induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in peripheral blood monocytes and co-stimulates activated T cell proliferation accompanied by IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2 production.
