Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
TDP43 was initially identified as a cellular protein binding to HIV-1 TAR DNA motifs, acting as a transcriptional repressor of the HIV-1 LTR. It also regulates splicing of exon 9 in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene, likely through UG repeat association at the splice site.
Pathologic TDP43, a hyperphosphorylated, ubiquitinated, and cleaved form, is a major disease protein in frontotemporal dementia (FLTD-U).
TDP43 is distinct from TRBP1, an RNA-binding protein that interacts with HIV-1 TAR RNA sequences.
