Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
TIMP-1 and TIMP-2 are inhibitory enzymes of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family, crucial for maintaining connective tissue integrity.
TIMP-2 exhibits high binding affinity to both latent (pro) and active forms of 72 kDa Type IV collagenase (MMP-2, gelatinase A) and the active form of 92 kDa Type IV collagenase (MMP-9, gelatinase B).
It inhibits the proteolytic invasiveness of tumor cells and normal placental trophoblast cells.
