Product Specific Information
The eBio1D3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by B cells during all developmental stages except terminally differentiated plasma cells. Follicular dendritic cells also express CD19.
CD19 forms a multimolecular complex with CD21, CD81, and MHC class II, associating with the BCR. Signaling through CD19 induces tyrosine phosphorylation, calcium flux, and B cell proliferation.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; recommended ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL volume).
Cell number may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titration recommended for optimal performance.

eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®, excited at 405 nm and emitting at 445 nm. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and some myeloid leukemia cells.
CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation.
It lowers the threshold for BCR-dependent stimulation and can signal independently of BCR co-ligation.
Mutation of CD19 causes hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
