Product Specific Information

  • Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
  • The antigen is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, zebra fish, and xenopus.
  • Specificity: STAM1 and STAM2.

Target Information

STAM1:
Involved in intracellular signal transduction mediated by cytokines and growth factors. Upon IL-2 and GM-CSF stimulation, it plays a role in signaling leading to DNA synthesis and c-myc induction. May also play roles in endocytic trafficking and T-cell development.
Subunit: Heterodimer composed of STAM1 and HGS/HRS. Interacts with STAMBP/AMSH.
Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed.

STAM2:
Participates in intracellular signal transduction mediated by cytokines and growth factors, likely through association with ubiquitinated cargo proteins on the early endosome. Plays a role in sorting for lysosomal trafficking and T-cell development.
Subunit: Heterodimer or heterotrimer composed of STAM2 and HGS/Hrs; EPS15 may be part of the complex. Interacts with STAMBP/AMSH, JAK2, JAK3, USP8/UBPY, CBX5, and VPS37C.
Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed.
