Target Information
Osteopontin은 아르지닌-글라이신-아스파르트산(RGD) 서열을 포함한 당단백질로, integrin 및 CD44 수용체와 상호작용합니다. 이 단백질은 뼈 무기질화, 세포 부착, 이동, 만성 염증 및 종양 변형 과정에 관여하는 다기능 단백질입니다. Thrombin 및 matrix metalloproteinase에 의해 integrin 결합 부위 근처에서 절단되면 Osteopontin의 기능과 결합 특성이 조절됩니다. 절단된 Osteopontin 조각은 악성 교종에서 과발현되어 세포 생존에 유리한 미세환경을 제공하며, plasmin 및 cathepsin D의 새로운 기질로 작용합니다.
