Target Information
A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs)는 구조적으로 다양한 단백질군으로, 공통적으로 PKA의 조절 서브유닛에 결합하여 세포 내 특정 위치에 효소 복합체를 고정시키는 기능을 합니다.
AKAP14는 섬모 축사(ciliary axoneme)에 PKA를 고정시켜 섬모 박동 빈도를 조절하는 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
여러 가지 전사적 스플라이스 변이체가 존재하며, 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화합니다.
