Product Specific Information
Description:
The OX-86 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD134 (OX40), a 50 kDa type I membrane glycoprotein expressed on activated mouse T lymphocytes. Mouse CD134 is expressed by both activated CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. The CD134–CD252 (OX40 ligand) interaction regulates humoral responses, T cell expansion and survival, memory T cell pool size, and tolerance in CD4+ compartments.
Applications Reported:
Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Validated for flow cytometric analysis of stimulated mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimal antibody titration advised.
Fluorophore Characteristics:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited with the blue laser (488 nm). Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable alternative). Verify instrument compatibility.
Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
