Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Endostatin. Anti-Human Endostatin-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hEndostatin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human Endostatin (500-P262) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hEndostatin.

Western Blot:
To detect hEndostatin by Western Blot, this antibody can be used at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hEndostatin is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Endostatin modulates proliferation, adhesion, and migration of endothelial cells depending on cell type. It inhibits angiogenesis and tumor growth in vivo by inducing apoptosis in endothelial cells, reducing vessel density and functionality in tumor-associated microvessels. Endostatin is non-toxic and does not induce acquired drug resistance, making it a promising therapy for solid tumors such as gliomas. Its anti-angiogenic activity is partly mediated by Zn²⁺ binding and elastase processing. Endostatin is found in elastic fibers and basement membrane zones and is associated with amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s disease.
