Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Endostatin. The anti-Human Endostatin-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using an immobilized Human Endostatin matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human Endostatin by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human Endostatin (500-P262Bt) as detection antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human Endostatin.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human Endostatin by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human Endostatin is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Endostatin modulates proliferation, attachment, and migration of endothelial cells, showing cell-type-dependent effects. It inhibits angiogenesis and tumor growth in vivo by inducing endothelial cell apoptosis. Local delivery of endostatin reduces tumor-associated microvessel density and functionality, suppressing tumor cell migration and invasion. Endostatin is non-toxic, does not induce drug resistance, and is a promising therapeutic strategy for solid tumors, including gliomas. Its anti-angiogenic activity is partially mediated by Zn²⁺ binding and elastase processing. Endostatin is expressed in elastic fibers and basement membrane zones and is released by neurons to accumulate in amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease.
