This antibody detects endogenous levels of JNK1, JNK2, and JNK3 only when phosphorylated at Threonine 183 and Tyrosine 185.

Target Information

C-Jun N-terminal Kinase (JNK), also known as Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK8), is a member of the MAPK superfamily of stress-activated protein kinases. MAPKs are serine-threonine kinases activated by various extracellular stimuli and mediate signal transduction from the cell surface to the nucleus. JNK is involved in numerous cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development. JNK pathways are activated by stress and inflammatory signals. It is expressed as ten isoforms due to differential mRNA splicing, with JNK1 and JNK2 being predominant.
