This antibody detects endogenous levels of ICK only when phosphorylated at Tyr159.
Target Information
ICK (Intestinal Cell Kinase) belongs to a large family of proteins sharing a conserved catalytic core common to both serine/threonine and tyrosine protein kinases. It encodes an intestinal serine/threonine kinase with a dual phosphorylation site found in MAP kinases. ICK localizes to the intestinal crypt region and is involved in epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation. It plays a key role in the development of the central nervous, skeletal, and endocrine systems.
