Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) to ensure carrier-free conditions.
Target Information
FGFBP1 encodes a secreted fibroblast growth factor carrier protein.
This protein plays a critical role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration by binding to fibroblast growth factors and enhancing their biological effects.
It may also function as an angiogenic switch molecule in tumor growth, and its expression has been associated with several cancer types, including pancreatic and colorectal adenocarcinoma.
A pseudogene of FGFBP1 is located on the short arm of chromosome 4.
