For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

G protein-coupled receptor GPR49 (LGR5) is expressed in brain, skeletal muscle, placenta, and spinal cord. ESTs have been isolated from normal human brain (amygdala), embryo, and placenta libraries, as well as germ cell, uterus, and brain libraries.
GPCRs form one of the largest families of signaling molecules, characterized by seven membrane-spanning helices and existing in active/inactive forms. Ligand binding induces conformational changes leading to G-protein signaling and downstream effects.
Regulation of GPCR activity has significant physiological implications and continues to drive pharmacological research. Notably, GPCR-targeted drugs such as Zyprexa (Eli Lilly) and Claritin (Schering-Plough) are major market leaders in mental health and allergy treatment.
