Target Information
INSRR (Insulin receptor-related receptor) is a member of the insulin receptor (IR) family. Although it does not bind insulin-like molecules, it exhibits tyrosine kinase activity similar to INSR.
It functions as a pH-sensing receptor activated by increased extracellular pH and triggers intracellular signaling involving IRS1 and AKT1/PKB.
