Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information
NDRG1 is a 394 amino acid cytoplasmic protein of the NDRG family. It interacts with APO A-I and A-II, playing roles in HDL-mediated cholesterol transport, stress and hormone responses, and cell growth/differentiation.
Defects in NDRG1 cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4D (CMT4D), characterized by reduced nerve conduction velocities, demyelination/remyelination, distal muscle atrophy, and weakness.
NDRG1 acts as a growth inhibitory marker of differentiation and is expressed in placental membranes, prostate, kidney, small intestine, ovary, colon, and luminal border cells.
