Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Ubiquitination requires a ubiquitin-activating enzyme, a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, and usually a substrate-specific ubiquitin-protein ligase. Multiubiquitination needs a fourth factor that binds to the ubiquitin moieties of preformed conjugates and catalyzes ubiquitin chain assembly in conjunction with the first three proteins.

In yeast, E4 activity is linked to cell survival under stress conditions, indicating that eukaryotes use E4-dependent proteolysis pathways for multiple cellular functions.
