Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CXCL9/MIG is observed.
- Less than 0.005% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse MIP-2, recombinant rat CINC-1, rhGRO alpha, rhGRO beta, and rhGRO gamma is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
MIG (CXCL9) is a T-cell chemoattractant induced by gamma interferon and belongs to the CXC chemokine family. The gene is mapped to 4q21.
Although chemokines are primarily known as chemotactic factors, they also affect T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection.
Unlike most CXC chemokines that attract neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive for neutrophils.
